VidGrab processes URLs submitted by users to resolve downloadable metadata. We cache metadata briefly to improve speed and reduce repeated extractor calls.

Downloaded media is not permanently stored by default. Signed temporary links are used for transfer, and cached route tokens expire automatically.

For abuse prevention we may keep short-lived technical logs about failed requests and supported platform checks. We avoid storing full URL query strings or linking long-term identity data with video links.
